Hamilton will be the ninth location in New Zealand to have access to Spark 5G on both wireless broadband and mobile, alongside Christchurch, Auckland, Dunedin, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Te Awamutu, Clyde and Alexandra, as well as four South Island towns which have access to Spark’s 5G wireless broadband services.

“We’re making great progress on our 5G roll out which is enabling faster home wireless broadband and mobile speeds and building the foundation for the emergence of new technology and experiences that require 5G’s speed, low latency and mass connectivity,” says Spark Technology Lead, Renee Mateparae.

I've been a professional technology journalist for over 15 years. Before going solo, I was the online/group editor for PC Advisor, PC Pro, Macworld UK, Expert Reviews, Alphr (which has gone down hill rapidly since the new owners took over) - I even has a weekly tech column for Stuff.co.nz. It's been a long road. th3bit is my new thing. It's a "bit" of a passion project, so I want to hear what you think. Seriously.
